As a family owned and operated business, Marwood traces its roots back to the 1920's.

For over 75 years, the company has been a key player in the wood products business.

In March 2001, Marwood officially adopted its new corporate name. Prior to March 2001, the company was known as Atlantic Pressure Treating. With the introduction of several new non-pressure treated products and a growing business, a new corporate name and identity were required to prepare the company for growth and new markets.

The name Marwood was derived from our first product, wood produced for marine use.

Today and in the future, Marwood will continue to build on its history of providing great products and service.
